Oh Watta Night

Why OWN?

Why You Should Choose OWN For Your Next Event

At Oh Watta Night Entertainment, Inc., it is our mission to treat every client like a member of our very “O.W.N.” family. From the first planning session to the last dance of the evening, our goal is to give our customers the finest service, the highest level of entertainment, and the most memorable event of a lifetime, leaving everyone saying: OH WATTA NIGHT!

My name is Bill Ruic, and I am the co-owner of Oh Watta Night Entertainment, Inc. Having been part owner of a large entertainment company for many years, as well as a long-time Emcee and DJ, I realized that personal attention, willingness to listen to clients’ needs, and creativity were getting lost in the corporate hubbub. I decided the time had come for a new approach. In 2012, I sold my portion of that business to start Oh Watta Night with my wife and business partner, Kimberly.

<p”>In order to do things differently, we felt the need to establish a personal relationship with our clients. We want to understand their vision of the event, and to be part of the creative process. We love to suggest ways in which we as entertainment can be integrated in to the rest of the event, not just the music by providing:

Personalized service, from beginning to end • Dynamic, attentive, creative and caring Emcees • Experienced DJs with extensive music libraries • Upbeat, energetic, and talented dancers • State of the art lighting and sound systems

“If you want a party with energy, warmth and FUN – Oh Watta Night is the best” – Shelley M.

MC Ryan & DJ Collin rocked our wedding! We could not be any happier the way the wedding turned out. We really believe all the meetings we did and the attention to details we discussed made our event truly unique and special! I mean who else plays immigrant song for their bridal party? Thank you so much for making our wedding fun and exciting but at the same time elegant and beautiful, we can not wait to party with you again for my sisters wedding in October!

Shomari is one of the most fun and personable guys we know. Working in the industry since his early 20’s, he has built a solid reputation as an entertainer, and our clients can’t say enough great things about him. Born in Orlando, FL, Nicole started her dance career at the age of four. She used her amazing gift all throughout high school as part of the dance team. She also went on to be an instrumental part of the Florida Tuskers dance team, moving up from there to become the choreographer for the Orlando Predator Prowlers.

In part because of her “go getter” attitude, Nicole was given a scholarship to the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in Los Angeles and earned her degree in dance. After graduation, she decided to remain in L.A. to pursue a career in dance, and she has not slowed down since.

Nicole has had the opportunity to work with popular music acts such as The Chainsmokers, Jason Derulo, and Selena Gomez. She also has a dance crew of her own called “The Show Off Dolls.” Nicole is currently working on several film and video projects, including a television pilot with world-renowned choreographer Shane Sparks (So You Think You Can Dance).

And, of course, Nicole can be found rocking the crowd with Oh Watta Night just about every weekend, so keep your eyes peeled for this powerhouse we call the hardest working dancer in show business!

Monique is a unique blend of brains and beauty. A dancer since childhood, she started dancing professionally in 2012 and has been rocking crowds ever since!

Although she is only 5’2”, her gigantic personality always shines through when motivating a dance floor. Her infectious smile, positive attitude and boundless energy fill the room. With a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology, Monique works as a children’s behavior therapist, so she really understands kids and relates to them well. She plays and coaches soccer, goes to the gym regularly, hikes, runs. takes karate and snowboards. When we asked her to describe herself for her bio she simply said, energetic, driven and fun-loving. We agree!

Collin started out as a DJ at 16, and has never stopped looking for ways to expand his knowledge and insight. His ability to pick just the right music for any crowd and pack a dance floor are among his many talents, not to mention his good looks and charming personality. Collin says, “I’ve wanted to be a DJ since I was a little kid, now I get to work every weekend doing something I love.”

When Collin is not busy entertaining people, he enjoys working on the restoration of his vintage 1978 Dodge Adventurer pickup truck. Collin also has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. If you ask him, though, he will tell you, “I’m not that exciting.” People who have seen Collin’s DJ skills in action, however, would disagree!
